Reports suggest a man with no history of travel outside the country has contracted the disease.
Heโs been put into isolation - in whatโs the first case of Monkeypox outside Kerala, where three infections were registered.
The WHO on Saturday declared the virus a global health emergency.

Ukraine Deal Will Help Russian Exports - UN
While Ukraine resumes crucial grain exports from its Black Sea ports following a deal with Moscow, Russia will also benefit from lower export costs, the secretary general of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) said.
โThere are delivery problems, insurance problems, payment problems, freight problems, and all these things make prices go up. So the main thing I foresee is that these difficulties will ease and transaction prices will come down,โRebeca Grynspan noted.
The UN official said that according to UNCTAD calculations, half of the increase in global grain prices is a result of transportation and logistics costs, concluding that โif we facilitate trade, then trade flows will resume and prices will go down.โ

French President Emmanuel Macron held a lengthy phone conversation with Iranโs Ebrahim Raisi on Saturday, revolving around the efforts to revive a crucial nuclear agreement with the Islamic Republic.
The call lasted for nearly two hours and came on the heels of a high profile meeting between the leaders of Iran, Turkey and Russia earlier this week.
According to Macronโs office, the French leader bluntly โexpressed his disappointment at the lack of progress and insisted to President Raisi that a clear choice must be made to conclude the agreement and return to the implementation of its nuclear commitments.โ

Some Western Counterparts Attempted To Postpone Grain Issue - Lavrov
Speaking at a press conference with his Egyptian counterpart, Sergey Lavrov said some Western countries attempted only to solve the Ukrainian grain issue - blocking out Russia.
Thatโs even though Russia delivers much more grain to the foreign markets, the foreign minister added.
Lavrov notes however the issue was resolved with both sides taken into consideration.
