Seven US Senators introduced a resolution on Friday accusing Russia of committing “a genocide against the people of Ukraine.” The allegations, which mirror a similar one introduced in the House of Representatives last month, have been refuted by Moscow, which has accused Ukraine of committing the same offenses.

British Pedophiles Targeted Ukrainian Refugee Children in Poland

10 known British pedophiles have been sent home from Polish refugee camps after claiming they were there to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukrainian refugees.

A National Crime Agency official told the Independent it was only after Polish immigration officials interviewed them that they were then sent back since they had initially neglected to declare their criminal records.

There are around 5,000 unaccompanied Ukrainian children who’ve arrived in Poland from Ukraine, but it is unclear if the British pedophiles had any contact with them.

$15BN State Bailout For German Energy Giant Uniper

The German government has agreed to pour $15bn into energy giant Uniper to avoid the company’s collapse after weeks of negotiations with majority shareholder, Finland's Fortum.

Germany will now hold a 30% stake in the company, which will allow it important strategy veto rights, with Fortum’s holding watered down to 56% from its previous 80%.

The agreement will reportedly allow Uniper to raise gas prices further on customers, although the package still needs to be ratified by the European Commission.
