The US Treasury Department announced an open invitation for comments on Biden's Executive Order on digital assets. According to the latter, the department should study the impact of cryptocurrencies on the financial system, economic growth and national security. Those looking to comment on the Executive Order have until August 8.

Beijing claims the guided-missile destroyer USS Benfold โillegally trespassed into Chinese territorial waters.โ
