Murder Charge Outrage In NYC Bodega Fatal Stabbing

Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg is facing serious pressure to drop murder charges against a 61-year-old NYC bodega worker who stabbed an attacker to death after meeting with various bodega advocates.

One of the advocates claimed after the meeting with Bragg that they were โ€œvery hopefulโ€ the case would be dropped.

Jose Alba reportedly stabbed Austin Simon in the neck and torso at least five times after Simonโ€™s girlfriend had told Alba "my n****r is gonna come down here right now and f**k you up" when her payment for a snack for her daughter was declined.

New York law dictates deadly force can only be used if a defendant โ€œreasonably believesโ€ their attacker is about to use deadly force themselves.
