Stoltenberg: Russia “Direct Threat” to NATO Security (AFP video)

Prior to Wednesday’s NATO leaders meeting in Madrid, the alliance chief Jens Stoltenberg branded Russia a “direct threat” to NATO defense amidst “the worst security crisis we have faced since the Second World War”.

He insisted, however, that although China was not an enemy, NATO needed to “take into account the consequences of our security” in the face of Beijing’s modern military power.

The alliance is also set to massively boost its presence on its eastern front.

All defensive moves, of course.

In explosive surprise testimony, former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows’ aide Cassidy Hutchison claimed Trump demanded Secret Service take him to the Capitol riots on Jan 6 and even lunged at the steering wheel in anger.

“I’m the effing President, take me there now,” Cassidy testified via senior Secret Service official Tony Ornato.

NY Times and NBC cite sources claiming the head of Trump’s security detail, Robert Engel, is prepared to go on oath denying he then lunged for the steering wheel.

Hutchison also alleged that Trump had wanted security to stop screening his supporters with metal detectors to allow crowds to appear larger.
