UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau took the opportunity on Sunday to jokingly argue over whether they should undress, with Johnson saying that showing off his โ€œpecsโ€ would make him appear โ€œtougher than Putin.โ€

Boris Johnson has attempted to paint his mention of serving a third term as mere enthusiasm for the job

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson wasnโ€™t seriously considering staying in office until โ€œthe mid-2030sโ€ โ€“ instead, he was merely focused on his โ€œmassive agenda,โ€ he told alarmed colleagues on Sunday.

Johnson had made the controversial comments about serving a third term and leading his country into the 2030s from Rwanda on Saturday, less than a month after his party was pummeled in by-elections at home, leaving senior conservative politicians to believe he was joking.

โ€ŠFinancing: Chinaโ€™s Long March
Strategic Culture Foundation (RSS)

China has a chance to transform the world for the better. Though it is no open goal, she should take it to take her place in the van not only of BRI but of the nations of the world, which is at her feet.

This article looks at the wider implications of NATOโ€™s defeat in Ukraine and, in particular, how it has set the ne plus ultra to the march of the World Economic Forumโ€™s Great Reset and thereby guaranteed the success of Chinaโ€™s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and so helped set the worldโ€™s economic trajectory for the next century.

The article superimposes, for exemplary purposes, BRIโ€™s spatial model on the Japanese logistics system, before analyzing how BRI can accommodate Taiwan, Japan and Korea, the three Asian spokes of Americaโ€™s over stretched East Asian hub system. It then conducts a summary SWOT analysis and, crucially, concludes by outlining how the emerging financial system of China and allied countries can underpin all of this.

Though it is an ambitious exploratory piece, it helps lay out the parameters of BRIโ€™s New World Order (NWO) and juxtapose it with the now redundant NWO plans of the WEF/NATO axis. This piece is, in sum, a prรฉcis of the economics of our next 100 years.

Sino-Japanese Spatial Networks

Japanโ€™s transport system is an integrated network of trains and tunnels and the Japanese are, by far, the worldโ€™s best tunnellers. Japan not only pioneered the bullet train but their vast rail networks remain at the center of their economic success. Put simply, the private companies which partly own those networks recoup profits by building shopping and other complexes around their lines. Theirs is a well thought out logistical system, which continues to reap dividends for all Japanโ€™s stakeholders.

BRI must be similar. It must be well thought out from Papua New Guinea to Syria and it must bring benefits for all stakeholders, from the China Pakistan Economic Corridor and from the Solomon Islands to the Russian-Finnish border. It must, in essence, continue to evolve into a much larger and infinitely more complex but no more sophisticated extension of that Japanese system.

The Japanese merchant fleet adds up to approximately 120 million gross tonnage, making it one of the worldโ€™s largest fleets. This superlative armada is, in essence, an extension of Japanโ€™s domestic networks, forced on it by Americaโ€™s earlier gunboat diplomacy. BRIโ€™s must be no different. It must be a series of integrated networks that can move products at any juncture between the Solomon Islands and St Petersburg and from Joโ€™burg to Shanghai whilst providing work, opportunities and increased living standards for all stakeholders along the way.

Although Chairman Maoโ€™s iron rice bowl of womb to tomb security is no more, there must be, as there has been in China, not only cascading trickle down effects but the growth and consolidation of new hubs in Africa as much as in Asia. Thus, although Japan was up to recently...

If you want a war with Iran, Russia, China and Venezuela tell me why and how it would benefit Americans

By Philip GIRALDI

So Honest Joe Biden is now going to give another $1.2 billion to the Ukrainians on top of the sixty or so billion that is already in the pipeline, but whoโ€™s counting, particularly as Congress refused to approve having an inspector general to monitor whose pockets will be lined. The money will be printed up without any collateral or โ€œborrowedโ€ and the American taxpayer will somehow have to bear the burden of this latest folly that is ipso facto driving much of the world into recession. And it will no doubt be blamed on Vladimir Putin, a process that is already well under way from president mumbles. But you have to wonder why no one has told Joe that the whole exercise in pushing much of the world towards a catastrophic war is a foolโ€™s errand. But then again, the clowns that the president has surrounded himself with might not be very big on speaking the truth even if they know what that means.

Having followed the Ukraine problem since the United States and its poodles refused to negotiate seriously with Vladimir Putin in the real world, I have had to wonder what is wrong with Washington. We have had the ignorant and impulsive Donald Trump supported by a cast of characters that included the mentally unstable Mike Pompeo and John Bolton followed by Biden with the usual bunch of Democratic Party rejects. By that I mean deep thinkers about social issues who would not be able to run a hot dog stand if that were what they were forced to do to make a living. But they are real good at shouting โ€œfreedomโ€ and โ€œdemocracyโ€ whenever questioned concerning their motives.

Indeed, opinion polls suggest that there is a great deal of unrest among middle and working class Americans who see a reversion to Jimmy Carter era financial instability, at that time caused by the oil embargo. Well, there is a new energy embargo in place brought about by the Biden Administrationโ€™s desire to wage proxy war to โ€œweakenโ€ Russia. Analysts predict that the costs for all forms of energy will double in the next several months and surging energy costs will impact the prices of other essentials, including food. Given all that, the fundamental issue plaguing both Democrats and Republicans is their inability to actually explain to the American people why the countryโ€™s foreign and national security policy always seems to be on the boil, searching for enemies and also creating them when they do not exist, even when the results are damaging to the interests of actual Americans.

That a serious discussion of why the United States needs to have a military that costs as much as the next nine nations in that ranking combined is long overdue and rarely addressed outside the alternative media. The 2023 military budget has been increased from this yearโ€™s, totaling $858 billion, and, if one includes the constantly growing largesse to Ukraine, approaching a hitherto unimaginable trillion dollars. The military budget has become a major driver of the countryโ€™s unsustainable deficits. The deaths of millions of people directly and indirectly in the wars started in 9/11 aside, the wars of choice have cost an estimated $8 trillion.

The Constitution of the United States makes it clear that a national army was only acceptable to the Founders when it was dedicated to defending the country from foreign threats. Do Americans really believe that bearing the burden of having something like 1,000 military bases scattered around the world really makes them safer? The recent rapid collapse of the security situation in Afghanistan suggests that having such bases turns soldiers and bureaucrats into potential hostages and is therefore a liability. One might also suggest th...

โ€ŠWestern Officials Admit Ukraine Is Crawling With CIA Personnel
Strategic Culture Foundation (RSS)

By Caitlin JOHNSTONE

The New York Times reports that Ukraine is crawling with special forces and spies from the US and its allies, which would seem to contradict earlier reports that the US intelligence cartel is having trouble getting intel about whatโ€™s happening on the ground in Ukraine.

This would also, obviously, put the final nail in the coffin of the claim that this is not a US proxy war.

In an article titled โ€œCommando Network Coordinates Flow of Weapons in Ukraine, Officials Say,โ€ anonymous western officials inform us of the following through their stenographers at The New York Times:

As Russian troops press ahead with a grinding campaign to seize eastern Ukraine, the nationโ€™s ability to resist the onslaught depends more than ever on help from the United States and its allies โ€” including a stealthy network of commandos and spies rushing to provide weapons, intelligence and training, according to U.S. and European officials.

Much of this work happens outside Ukraine, at bases in Germany, France and Britain, for example. But even as the Biden administration has declared it will not deploy American troops to Ukraine, some C.I.A. personnel have continued to operate in the country secretly, mostly in the capital, Kyiv, directing much of the massive amounts of intelligence the United States is sharing with Ukrainian forces, according to current and former officials.

At the same time, a few dozen commandos from other NATO countries, including Britain, France, Canada and Lithuania, also have been working inside Ukraine.

The revelation that the CIA and US special forces are conducting military operations in Ukraine does indeed make a lie of the Biden administrationโ€™s insistence at the start of the war that there would be no American boots on the ground in Ukraine, and the admission that NATO powers are so involved in operations against a nuclear superpower means we are closer to seeing a nuclear exchange than anyone should be comfortable with.

This news should surprise no one who knows anything about the usual behavior of the US intelligence cartel, but interestingly it contradicts something we were told by the same New York Times not three weeks ago.

โ€œAmerican intelligence agencies have less information than they would like about Ukraineโ€™s operations and possess a far better picture of Russiaโ€™s military, its planned operations and its successes and failures,โ€ NYT told us earlier this month. โ€œU.S. officials said the Ukrainian government gave them few classified briefings or details about their operational plans, and Ukrainian officials acknowledged that they did not tell the Americans everything.โ€

It seems a bit unlikely that US intelligence agencies would have a hard time getting information about whatโ€™s happening in a country where they themselves are physically located. Moon of Alabama theorized at the time that this ridiculous โ€œWe donโ€™t know whatโ€™s happening in our own proxy warโ€ line was being pushed to give the US plausible deniability about Ukraineโ€™s failures on the battlefield, which...
