Iconic HK Floating Restaurant Sinks
Just a week after being towed away from Hong Kong, the iconic Jumbo Floating Restaurant began leaking amidst "adverse weather" on Saturday before capsizing in 1000m-deep waters in the South China Sea on Sunday.
Nobody was injured in the incident but the management company said it was impossible to salvage the 80m-long, six-story vessel.
Previous patrons during its 40-year history include Tom Cruise and Queen Elizabeth II.

Australia Seeks Military Ties With India
Deputy PM and Defense Minister Richard Marles announced his intention of tightening Australiaโs security and military partnership with India as he kicked off his four-day visit on Monday.
Marles will meet with counterpart Rajnath Singh, FM Subrahmanyam Jaishankar and other security policy makers to build on the 2020 deal to grant mutual access to military bases.
โThe rules-based international order that has brought peace and prosperity to the Indo-Pacific for decades is experiencing pressure, as we face shifts in the geostrategic order,โ Marles said.

At least 280 people have been killed and many others are injured after a 6.1 magnitude earthquake rocked Afghanistan early on Wednesday, the ruling Taliban's official news agency Bakhtar has said.
The epicenter was located some 44 km (27 miles) from the city of Khost in the southeast of the country at a depth of 51km (31 miles), the US Geological Survey (USGS) has said. The earthquake also affected parts of neighboring Pakistan.
