One Third of EU Countries See Double-Digit Inflation
Consumer price growth has hit double digits in at least a third of EU countries, with the most severe spike seen in the Baltic region, the Financial Times reported.
Nine members of the bloc have seen inflation surpass 10%, with the biggest increase observed in Estonia, where consumer prices have surged by 19% year-on-year.
Other badly hit bloc countries include Lithuania with 16.8%, Bulgaria with 14.4% and the Czech Republic 14.2%.

Plans Revealed For US to Keep Troops Stationed in Europe
The US plans to keep 100,000 troops in Eastern Europe for the foreseeable future, potentially increasing the number if it perceives a threat from Russia to NATO. (CNN)
