Russia Halts Gas Supplies to Finland

Russia has halted natural gas deliveries to Finland after state energy wholesaler Gasum failed to make a required payment in rubles, the Finnish gas system operator Gasgrid Finland said in a statement Saturday. 

โ€œGas imports through the Imatra entry point have been stopped,โ€ the statement read.

Russian energy giant Gazprom has confirmed the complete halt in gas deliveries to the country.

Meta employees have been warned against talking about abortion at work, employees told The Verge.

To justify the ban on discussing the topic the company cited an โ€œincreased riskโ€ that Meta would be seen as a โ€œhostile work environment.โ€

UK in Talks to Arm Ukraine's Neighbor

The UK is in active discussions to ship weapons to Moldova, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss told the Telegraph Friday.

The cabinet minister claimed Moscow has โ€œambitions to create a greater Russia,โ€ suggesting it could set its sights on Moldova, which contains the Russian-speaking breakaway region of Transnistria. 

โ€œI would want to see Moldova equipped to a NATO standard. This is a discussion weโ€™re having with our allies,โ€ Truss said, though she did not elaborate on what kind of arms were being considered.
