Syria Claims Israeli Missile Strikes Resulted in Fatalities
At least three people were reportedly killed at Damascus International Airport Friday, in what the Syrian government claims was a missile attack by Israel.
Two flights were delayed as a result of a fire at the facility. Israeli media reported that the strikes were aimed at Syrian and Iranian military targets.
Syrian air defenses intercepted multiple โhostile targetsโ in the skies over Damascus late Friday, but some missiles passed through causing casualties and starting the fire at the airport, the Syrian Defense Ministry said.

Tornado Rips Through German City Injuring 40
A massive twister ripped through Paderborn on Friday, blowing away roofs, breaking trees and damaging multiple vehicles.
The tornado, which was accompanied by heavy rain, injured at least 30 people in the city, local police said, urging residents to stay home.
โThe storm caused 30 to 40 injuries, at least 10 of them are serious. The damage caused is not yet clear,โ the police said in a statement.
