Truce Takes Air: Yemen’s Sanaa Airport Sees 1st Commercial Flight In 6 Years
It's the first trip of its kind since August 2016 from the Yemeni capital, and it was given a 'rainbow' send off on its way to Amman in Jordan.
The Yemeni aircraft left through a guard of honor from two fire trucks spurting jets of water.
A truce in the crippling war with the Saudi-led coalition has lasted for around six weeks.
