North Korea: 6 DEATHS From โExplosiveโ Outbreak
State media has reported six killed - one death from Omicron Covid - and 350,000 infections of a rabid fever that has spread through North Korea. It comes a day after confirming coronavirus cases for the first time.
KCNA claimed about 187,000 were still in isolation, but was vague about how many were specifically Covid infections.
The April 25 military parade which packed tens of thousands into Kim Il Sung Square could be a major factor behind the outbreak. South Korea, China and Russia have offered to supply vaccines if requested.
