❗️Riga Police Detain Russia-Linked Politicians

After attending a rally in Latvia's capital, three politicians have been detained by the authorities.

MEP Tatyana Zhdanok (Russian Union of Latvia), Alexei Sharipov (Anti-Nazi Committee) and Tatyana Andriets have reportedly claimed they were there to warn people against attending.

Latvian officials had said those present in the town hall sq would be harshly dispersed.

It's claimed Zhdanok, 72 years old, flew in especially from Brussels.
