Ten More European Gas Buyers Switch to Ruble Payments
Companies across Europe continue to open accounts with Gazprombank - doubling the number of clients who are now paying for Russian energy in rubles.
It's reported another 14 firms - on top of the existing 20 - have requested the paperwork to set up accounts too.
EU nations have been struggling for ways to pay for gas since Russia ordered the currency switch - and not 'circumvent' the European Union's own sanctions.
Italy and Germany - huge consumers of Russian gas - are among those that have switched.
