Lockheed Martin To Almost DOUBLE Anti-Tank Missile Production

US weapons manufacturer Lockheed Martin has announced plans to ramp up production to 4,000 Javelin anti-tank missiles per year - with many being shipped off to Ukraine. (CBS)

Their planned boost in arms comes after President Biden visited a facility in Alabama last week, before lobbying Congress to rush through a monster military aid package to Kiev.

Lawmakers push back against โ€˜sleepwalkingโ€™ into direct conflict with nuclear-armed Russia

Republicans in the US House of Representatives are increasingly divided over Washingtonโ€™s aid pipeline to Ukraine, with establishment politicians touting a โ€œproxy warโ€ with Russia while members of the populist Freedom Caucus argue that Congress is neglecting domestic priorities while provoking a nuclear-armed adversary.

The infighting escalated as the House passed a $39.8 billion military and economic aid package for Kiev. While Democrats voted in lockstep to support the spending binge, 57 Republicans gave t...

Appeals court panel strikes down Californiaโ€™s prohibition on sale of semiautomatic weapons to under-21 adults

A US appeals court has found that Californiaโ€™s ban on the sale of semiautomatic rifles to adults under 21 violates the constitutional right of Americans to bear arms.

โ€œAmerica would not exist without the heroism of the young adults who fought and died in our revolutionary army,โ€ Judge Ryan Nelson wrote in a 2-1 majority opinion issued on Wednesday by the Ninth US Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco....

Coinbase reported $430 million Q1 net loss

The largest cryptocurrency exchange in the USA, Coinbase, announced a net loss of $429.7 million in the first quarter of 2022, far greater than the $47 million expected by Wall Street analysts. According to the report, the main reasons are volatility and low crypto-asset prices.

Coinbaseโ€™s shareholder letter revealed that the firm generated $1.16 billion in net income during the period. Wall Streetโ€™s revenue estimate was just under $1.5 billion.

Revenue derived from transaction fees still made up the lionโ€™s share of the total at 87%. The rest came from subscriptions and services.

Trading volume on the platform fell from $547 billion in Q4 2021 to $309 billion for the first quarter of 2022. Of this to...

Guidelines designed to support Kiev while keeping the US out of the war, officials tell the Washington Post

The US has developed rules on sharing intelligence with Ukraine that would give Washington plausible deniability while providing Kiev with as much information as possible to attack the Russian military. This is according to the Washington Post, quoting unnamed officials on Wednesday, after days of media claims about the extent of US involvement in the conflict.

The US is providing Kiev with real-time information about the location and movement of Russian forces, including sat...

Protests continue in Sri Lanka, despite the imposition of a state of emergency. People are demanding the resignation of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

Anti-Russian sanctions have exacerbated the economic crisis, and prices in the country have skyrocketed. The cost of basic foodstuffs has more than doubled. Locals queue up for paraffin. They need fuel to cook food.

The โ€˜hottestโ€™ point of the protests is near the secretariat of the head of state. A tent camp was set up there. People have travelled from all over the country. Among the protesters is Mahindi Siri, a 40-year-old Special Forces soldier. He lost a leg after being blown up by a landmine while fighting in the north. The war ended 13 years ago. He never imagined he would have to count every rupee to survive.

This footage was shot by an RT Documentary team in Sri Lanka, making a new film about how the country is coping with the economic crisis. Itโ€™s premiering soon.
