Tehran Foils “Massive” Cyberattacks on Over 100 Public Sector Entities

Iranian state TV has reported that authorities thwarted huge cyberattacks launched at over 100 public-sector bodies in recent days, but refrained from specifically identifying any intended victims.

The report claimed attacks originated from IP addresses in the Netherlands, Britain and the US, and follows huge assaults on Iran’s fuel network in October and transport networks in July.
