Philadelphia Changes Course on Mask Mandate
Philadelphia is ending its indoor mask mandate in a rapid U-turn - after reinstating it just days ago due to a spike in Covid-19 infections.
The Board of Health voted Thursday to rescind the mandate, reportedly due to “decreasing hospitalizations and a leveling of case counts.”
The mandate went into effect Monday, but the health department didn't release any data to back up its decision to reverse.
