UK Allows Gazprombank Gas Payments till end of May

The Treasury has issued a temporary license allowing payments for Russian gas to be made to Gazprombank - which the UK, but not the EU, has sanctioned - until the end of May.

Moscow had demanded that Russian gas buyers open ruble and foreign currency accounts with Gazprombank or face a halt in supply. April bills are due to be settled next month.
