CNN+ Axed After... Nobody Watched It?
Warner Bros Discovery is shutting down CNN+, a premium subscription service based around the channelโs anchors - only a month after it launched.
CNN CEO Chris Licht reportedly made the announcement to staff, adding that the service will close operations entirely on April 30th.
Only 150,000 people have opted in for a subscription as of this week, according to Axios, despite the network aiming for a million paying customers.
Everyone must have enjoyed it too much when it was free.
