❗️Netflix Stock Plummets $40BN: First subs loss in decade recorded... due to "Woke Mind Virus"?

Netflix lost 200,000 subscribers in Q1 of 2022, its first drop in numbers in a decade. Wall Street wiped a whopping 26% (about $40BN) off its stock value on Tuesday, sinking to 30% as markets opened Wednesday.

The streaming giant predicts further losses in Q2 of a further 2 million subscribers, as it contemplates turning to a cheaper variant with ads to prop up massive losses.

Netflix lost around 700,000 subs in Russia after cutting service there last month. It cited intense competition, the conflict in Ukraine and inflation among the reasons. Elon Musk had other ideas though, tweeting: “The woke mind virus is making Netflix unwatchable”.
