Germany’s Left Party Leader RESIGNS after Sexism Scandal

Susanne Henig-Wellsow has quit as the co-leader of the country's smallest opposition, The Left Party (Die LINKE).

In statement she admitted a “programmatic, strategic and cultural renewal” was needed and that voters had been let down.

Henig-Wellsow gave three reasons, citing the "sexism in our ranks" as the last point.
