Why Hunterโ€™s emails still matter

Peter Van BUREN

You hear? The emails on Hunter Bidenโ€™s laptop are real. No less than the New York Times, the official mainstream media newspaper of the mainstream media, agrees.

Actually, the FBI agreed first, as they are in the middle of a criminal investigation into Hunterโ€™s business activities and taxes based on the contents of the laptop. Despite the ongoing coverage of the emails outside establishment media, it was only the FBIโ€™s investigation of the laptop that finally forced the Times to...

The US president still blames Russia for high prices, but now says the number-one reason is actually the Covid-19 pandemic

US President Joe Biden admitted on Tuesday that Covid-19 pandemic lockdowns were the primary cause of runaway inflation, but still blamed his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, for high gas prices at home. Bidenโ€™s domestic popularity has suffered amid the worst inflation since 1981.

The White House has tried to blame the inflation on Russiaโ€™s military operation in Ukraine for the past six weeks, insisting on the phrase โ€œPutin price hikeโ€ to describe the skyrocketing prices...

RT World News (RSS)

A top UN official has dismissed the idea that the Ukrainian conflict might spiral into a nuclear war

The prospects of a nuclear conflict breaking out are "unthinkable," Stephane Dujarric, Spokesman for UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, said during a media briefing on Tuesday.

A reporter had asked the official whether the UN had been making โ€œany preparationsโ€ in the wake of alleged โ€œthreatsโ€ to use chemical and nuclear weapons amid the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The reporter did not elaborate who exactly had purportedly voiced the "threats." Dujarric, however, firmly brus...

Republicans see Biden as 'More Harmful than Putin'

Americans of all political stripes largely agree that Vladimir Putin is their villain-in-chief, but Republicans are even more sour about their own Commander-in-Chief.

A new Morning Consult poll has revealed that 83% of Americans believe the world would benefit if Putin left office. However, among GOP voters, 84% of respondents said the same of US President Joe Biden.

The Russian leader topped the poll, exceeding Kim Jong-unโ€™s result of 78% of respondents saying the world would be better without him. Chinaโ€™s Xi Jinping was next in line, at 59%, followed by Biden, at 51%.

Canada has followed the US in trying to punish Russian presidentโ€™s adult children over Moscowโ€™s war in Ukraine

Canada has joined the US in trying to make retribution against Russia over the Ukraine conflict more personal, imposing new sanctions against President Vladimir Putinโ€™s two adult daughters.

Ottawaโ€™s latest sanctions target 14 individuals connected to the โ€œRussian regime,โ€ including Putin daughters Katerina Tikhonova and Mariya Putina. Both women are in their 30s and have no known roles in Russiaโ€™s government....

โ€˜Itโ€™s a mortar shell; itโ€™s an eighty. I mustnโ€™t touch it. See, Iโ€™m holding it`, little Rita said in 2016. For her, ammunition replaced toys; she learned to understand them. Her village of Zaitsevo was in the Grey Zone - near the front line. Like hundreds of other settlements, it was shelled by Ukrainian troops almost every day for eight years.

Ritaโ€™s story is in our video and film โ€˜Donbass: The Grey Zoneโ€™.
