Ride a Bike, Don't Heat your Home! Minister Pleads with Germans to Become Independent from Russian Energy
Economy & Climate chief Robert Habeck has asked fellow citizens to switch to cycling and using public transportation, as well as easing off on heating homes amid the ongoing energy crisis.
“I am asking everyone to commit to energy saving right now,” Habeck told the Funke media group, “We can become more independent from Russian imports only when we make it a societal project.”

Vanguard Group has upped its own stake in Twitter to 10.3%, thus knocking Elon Musk off his position as top stakeholder in the social media giant, after increasing its shares to 82.4MN in Q1.
The asset management group now holds around $3.78 billion of Twitter, but most of its assets are reportedly in index and passive funds, suggesting the group has no intention of a takeover.
