Turkey Declines to Join Russia Sanctions

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has declared that Ankara will not join the sanctions some its NATO allies have imposed on Russia.

"We believe that the sanctions will not resolve the problem," he told journalists.

Turkeyโ€™s decision seems to go against the the general NATO sentiment, whose Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said that all members of the alliance were expected to sanction Russia.
