A day after being sued by former shareholders for not disclosing his original 9.2% stake purchase, Elon Musk has now reportedly offered to buy the whole company for $54.20 per share.

He is already the largest shareholder, but refused a seat on the board which would have prevented him from amassing more than a 15% stake.

Australian PM’s Vehicle Crashes - Four Hospitalized

Scott Morrison’s security detail was involved in a two-vehicle crash, while he was on the campaign trail in Tasmania.

Two local police officers and two Australian Federal Police service members were travelling in an unmarked police car when hit by a Mitsubishi Triton.

"Circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated, however initial enquiries indicate that the Triton has collided with the rear of the police vehicle, while attempting to merge," Tasmania Police said in a statement. “The PM is not injured and was not involved in the accident”.

Largest comet ever spotted moves towards Solar System

The biggest comet ever recorded by astronomers is approaching the Solar System, researchers have said.

The C/2014 UN271 (Bernardinelli-Bernstein) is the “largest long-period comet ever detected,” a team of researchers wrote in a study published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters on Tuesday.

The comet was discovered in 2010, but scientists only recently estimated its features, using NASA’s Hubble space telescope. It is roughly 80 miles (129 km) wide, larger than the US state of Rhode Island and roughly the size of Wales.
