Australian PMโ€™s Vehicle Crashes - Four Hospitalized

Scott Morrisonโ€™s security detail was involved in a two-vehicle crash, while he was on the campaign trail in Tasmania.

Two local police officers and two Australian Federal Police service members were travelling in an unmarked police car when hit by a Mitsubishi Triton.

"Circumstances surrounding the crash are being investigated, however initial enquiries indicate that the Triton has collided with the rear of the police vehicle, while attempting to merge," Tasmania Police said in a statement. โ€œThe PM is not injured and was not involved in the accidentโ€.

The biggest comet ever recorded by astronomers is approaching the Solar System, researchers have said.

The C/2014 UN271 (Bernardinelli-Bernstein) is the โ€œlargest long-period comet ever detected,โ€ a team of researchers wrote in a study published in The Astrophysical Journal Letters on Tuesday.

The comet was discovered in 2010, but scientists only recently estimated its features, using NASAโ€™s Hubble space telescope. It is roughly 80 miles (129 km) wide, larger than the US state of Rhode Island and roughly the size of Wales.
