UK Inflation Spikes to 30-Year High
Inflation jumped to a historic 7% last month, while the country is going through several economic crises.
“The data tells a story of what millions are currently living — steeper bills on everything from petrol to food and fuel, and less left over at the end of each month to put towards their future,” a director for Aberdeen Standard Capital said. (Bloomberg)
The Bank of England is now expecting a total inflation of around 8% by the end of the month, with fears looming of a double digit figure in the near future.
