Meta’s Virtual Reality Starts Selling Trinkets, Offers People In-Game Jobs

Meta has begun testing new features for its Horizon Worlds online VR game, including a reward system and the ability to sell virtual items.

According to the tech giant, users “could make and sell attachable accessories for a fashion world or offer paid access to a new part of a world.”

As for the new “Creator Bonus program,” it's been described as “goal-oriented monthly programs where the creators are paid out at the end of the month for their progress...” Sound like Black Mirror yet?

A DNR tank destroys a Ukrainian sniper and machine gun nest, in one of the last residential areas held by nationalists in Mariupol.

Here, you can see how close the fighting is to the Azov industrial complex.

There are no civilians in these buildings - most have been evacuated, but a significant number as still held as human shields by Ukrainian nationalists, who have surrounded themselves with locals at a nearby school.

Pentagon can’t confirm claims Russia used chemical weapons in Ukraine

The US Defense Dept has not received any clear evidence of an alleged attack that Ukrainian nationalist sources say took place in Mariupol – claiming it left several militants struggling to breathe and suffering from dizziness and headaches.

An aide to Mariupol’s Mayor Pyotr Andriuschenko also said the allegations of a chemical attack have yet to be confirmed.

Western politicians, along with Kiev, have been hyping up allegations of a possible Russian chemical attack - despite Moscow saying it destroyed its chemical weapon supplies years ago.
