Lloydโs of London sent workers home after its offices were barricaded with Extinction Rebellion protesters, angry at the marketplaceโs insurance of fossil fuel projects.
The activist group claimed over 60 members participated, some blocking doors with superglue and bike chains and others scaling the outer walls and hanging slogans.
The latest stunt comes just days after other protests shut down Tower Bridge and disrupted key nationwide oil terminals.

Biden Suffers LOWEST-EVER Approval Rating - Dems in midterm trouble
Joe Biden is facing his lowest approval ratings since taking office as a CBS poll found just 42% approve of his overall presidency; even 22% of those who voted for him in 2020 now disapprove.
He took the biggest approval hits on his handling of inflation, with 69% disapproving after the US rate hit 7.9% in February - its highest level since 1982.
The poll surveyed US residents, not specifically registered voters, but the findings are in line with forecasts of a Republican victory in the upcoming midterms.
