Binance receives principle approval to operate in Abu Dhabi

According to the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Bitcoin exchange Binance has gained approval an in-principle regulatory approval from Abu Dhabi’s Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to operate as an asset broker-dealer in virtual assets.

According to the announcement, Binance’s approval to provide financial services is part of an effort to establish the exchange as a fully regulated crypto service provider.

France Confiscates Historic Painting Belonging to Russian Oligarch

French authorities have decided to hold onto a 1910 self-portrait by the prominent Russian artist Pyotr Konchalovsky, which is owned by sanctioned Russian oligarch Petr Aven.

The painting initially was loaned out to France as a part of an exhibition at the Foundation Louis Vuitton in Paris.
