EU now is just NATO’s ‘economic department’ – Russia
The European Union has devolved to the level of “NATO’s economic relations department,” Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova claimed on Saturday.
Following his visit to Ukraine, the EU’s foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell, tweeted: “This war must be won on the battlefield.” The militant remarks coming from a diplomat prompted a reaction from Moscow.
“So much for ‘economic organization.’ This is no longer the European Union. It's just NATO's economic relations department,” Zakharova wrote.

Donald Trump has endorsed TV personality and cardiac surgeon Doctor Mehmet Oz for a Senate seat in Pennsylvania, his spokesperson announced on Saturday ahead of a rally for the ex-US president in North Carolina.
“The Great Commonwealth of Pennsylvania has a tremendous opportunity to Save America by electing the brilliant and well-known Dr. Mehmet Oz for the United States Senate,” the statement, posted to Twitter, reads. “This is all about winning elections in order to stop the Radical Left maniacs from destroying our country.”

Sanctions push BRICS states towards closer ties – Moscow
Ukraine-related Western sanctions are pushing BRICS countries into closer economic cooperation at an accelerated pace, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said on Saturday during the first meeting of finance ministers and central bank governors of the BRICS countries, chaired by China.
According to the finance minister, the “current crisis is man-made,” and the BRICS member states – Russia, Brazil, India, China, and South Africa – “have all the necessary tools to mitigate its consequences for their respective economies and the global economy on a broader scale.”
Siluanov says the current US dollar-based international financial system should be reformed to ensure “independence and continuity of economic processes.”

World food prices hit new high – UN
Global food prices surged to a historic high last month on grain and edible oil supply woes brought about by the conflict in Ukraine, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) said on Friday.
“World food commodity prices made a significant leap in March to reach their highest levels ever, as war in the Black Sea region spread shocks through markets for staple grains and vegetable oils,” the FAO said in a statement.

Однако, если присмотреться, то можно заметить, что русского солдата приковали цепями к стальному противотанковому ежу, после чего пытали, а потом, судя по фото, живьём подожгли. Украина - ИГИЛ в центре Европы.
It usually takes me a while to work up the nerve to publish such stuff, but the world must see the true nature of the Ukrainian Nazism. Ukrainian social networks are circulating this photo and laughing over the dead body of a Russian soldier. However, if you take a closer look, you will notice that the Russian soldier was chained to a steel "hedgehog" anti-tank obstacle, then tortured and afterwards, as it appears from the photo, he was set on fire while still alive. Ukraine embodies ISIS in the middle of Europe.

NATO to station permanent force in east – Stoltenberg
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has said that the bloc will deploy a permanent full-scale military force on the eastern flank to deter Russia. The move comes in response to Moscow’s military campaign against Ukraine.
In an interview published by The Telegraph on Saturday, Stoltenberg explained that the US-led military organisation has been focused on “a very fundamental transformation” in order to better reflect the “new reality” in Europe.
“We have now asked our military commanders to provide options for what we call a reset, a more longer-term adaptation of NATO,” he said, adding that the decisions on the matter are expected at the bloc’s summit in Madrid, Spain in June.
