Ice Cube has reportedly exited comedy Oh Hell No after refusing to get vaccinated at the request of producers.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Cube left behind a $9million payday by departing the film. Producers on Oh Hell No had requested that cast members would need to be vaccinated for the project.

Mr Martin revealed that antigen testing, an accelerated booster vaccine campaign and the potential vaccination of children aged over five years will likely play a crucial role in defeating the Covid-19 surge before Christmas.

The rest of the regions in the top ten worst-hit areas are: Kerry (972), Laois (766), Clare (729), Louth (716), Limerick (713), Leitrim (695) and Westmeath (655).

These are followed by: Donegal (633), Meath (624), Cavan (598), Dublin (574) Cork (563), Roscommon (536), Kilkenny (534), Galway (516), Tipperary (515), Offaly (507), and Wicklow (503).

Meanwhile, the five counties faring best with coronavirus are: Mayo (390), Wexford (466), Sligo (483), Kildare (498), and Monaghan (500).

Following the high number of cases reported this week, Chief Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan appealed to the public to follow public health advice.
