I just started in NUIG as a mature student. They have a pop up vaccination centre there and are openly encouraging all students to get the jab! It’s disgusting… They even had security from around 3pm in the college cafe/bar checking covid passports along with student I.D. And if you want to eat indoors in the college there is random spot checks for this!?!? Also, masks are to be worn in ALL indoor areas. I will post more when I know more. It’s only my first week so just getting my head around things. But f**k me… It’s a lot to take in 🤯

We also have a 'pop up' vac centre on DCU Glasnevin campus with weekly emails from our President and others in the university and all are saying 'while we know its up to each individual, we encourage staff and students to get vaxd'. Haven't heard of any checking by security but can't eat in in the helix if unvaxd.
