Enough in enough, it's not a conspiracy!

Irelandโ€™s medicines watchdog has received reports of 80 people suffering a form of heart inflammation after getting a Covid-19 vaccine.

The latest report from the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA) said 25 cases of myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle, have been notified to date.

And 33 cases of pericarditis, inflammation of the heart lining, were reported with 22 incidences of both conditions.

Most were reported in people who got the Pfizer vaccine, and in men, with 10 notified after getting the Moderna jab. The median age of these was 35 years but some were 81 years old and five involved young people aged 12 to 17.

Here we go.

NHS leaders and health officials fear there is a realistic possibility 60,000 people could die from flu this winter, as the government renewed calls for people to get vaccinated against the influenza virus as soon as possible.

Cases of coronavirus, flu and other respiratory infections are likely to surge in the months ahead, experts say, culminating in increased hospitalisations and rising pressure on health services across England.

Deputy chief medical officer Professor Jonathan Van-Tam said the lack of flu last year made the threat this winter a โ€œsignificant public health concernโ€.

A lack of population immunity due to its suppression over the past year by Covid restrictions could contribute to between 15,000 and 60,000 flu deaths, according to modelling from the Academy of Medical Sciences.
