At the beginning of the lockdowns the Irish government invested 600,000 euro in advertisement campaign to hire additional staff. 73,000 people applied to help in what they thought was going to be a devastated health service, where even Irish nurses located abroad flew back to help. Only 0.4% of applicants were hired, or 321 people. The Irish government has no excuse as to why 1,000,000 hospital appointments were cancelled which has now put many people on this island at risk as they weren't able to receive adequate healthcare for cancer treatments and other terminal illnesses. The HSE management is not fit for purpose and should be held accountable for medical negligence.

BRITISH ARMY TANKER drivers are taking to the roads for the first time to deliver supplies to UK petrol stations hit by the fuel crisis.
Around 200 military personnel โ half of them drivers โ are being deployed in Operation Escalin, despite UK Government ministers insisting the situation at the pumps is easing.
The troops โ who have been on standby since the start of last week โ will initially be concentrated in London and the South East, where the worst shortages remain.
