The Censored (Telegram)

Thanks to those of you who voted in the poll. I do try to verify as much as I can but I canโ€™t dedicate endless hours to this so unfortunately crap is pretty much guaranteed to happen occasionally. Also, some things simply canโ€™t be verified and other things I forward from other telegram channels because I want to hear your views, not because Iโ€™m sold on it, so itโ€™s a weird thing trying to keep things clear here 24/7. One big issue is forwarding messages and posts in Telegram from other Telegram channels. Those posts are not originally made by me so I donโ€™t actually have the ability to edit the captions or thumbnails, and for whatever reason sometimes when theyโ€™re forwarded, the original caption and poster name are forwarded with it, other times theyโ€™re not and I have no idea why. (If anyone can fill me in on why that happens even though Iโ€™m using the same device each time, please do). I did find out a few weeks ago that sometimes the original poster name and the โ€œforwarded messageโ€ header doesnโ€™t show up depending on the device being used to view the channel. I had forwarded comments from someone whose mother developed prion disease from the jab and my sister ended up texting me asking if our mom was ok because on her device it looked like I wrote it myself, whereas on mine it was clear that it was written by somebody else. :/

I think what Iโ€™m going to do if weโ€™re totally certain something is provably ridiculously false, is leave it and update the captions if I have the ability to, if itโ€™s a forwarded message I canโ€™t edit that has a thumbnail and caption that is seriously misleading, I might delete it depending on what it is and reupload myself so I can repost it with new captions explaining what it said originally and why itโ€™s been reuploaded.

If something is posted and people are arguing over it and seem split on whether itโ€™s legit or not, Iโ€™ll just leave it. I agree with what DC said in the poll comments, I donโ€™t like being told by someone else whatโ€™s been โ€œdebunkedโ€. I also think that itโ€™s borderline narcissistic and kind of cult-like to disallow or delete debate, we all have different pieces of the puzzle here and there is no single person on this planet who has everything figured out and can dictate every aspect of reality to anyone else, so Iโ€™d like to keep comment threads up as-is unless I get stuck having to delete and reupload something for clarification purposes (if a post is deleted from the channel I think the comments attached to it might go with it unless they remain in the actual chat room separate from the deleted post).

Being against censorship is a messy deal sometimes so I just ask that people use their discernment when viewing content and please keep in mind that sometimes I entertain questionable shit for a minute or ten, because Iโ€™ve seen a lot of questionable stuff be proven as valid over the years.. and I do 100% believe that truth really is stranger than fiction. Please understand that a lot of what I think comes with a question mark on the end of it, because I also think that a refusal to view things that way tends to lead to stunted growth in understanding in the long term and sets up blinders for the future that I donโ€™t want to walk around with. Hopefully you guys know what I mean when I say that. Maybe try to take the meat and leave the bones without freaking out about them I guess. Some stuff that seems false or impossible might actually be good to file away in the back of your head for future reference, should some new info come around later that causes it to suddenly make sense. You know what I mean.

Thanks again for voting. Iโ€™ll keep trying to find the right balance with this and judge things as we go, based on each โ€œoffendingโ€ post individually.. and if I piss any of you off with this down the road, feel free to say so.. but donโ€™t expect me to agree with you every time lol. My chances of pleasing everyone are definitely zero. ๐Ÿ™ƒ

The World Health Organization (WHO) changed its definition of pandemic influenza in 2009, after novel H1N1 influenza was identified. The definition changed to pave the way for declaring a pandemic.
In 4 May 2009, under one month before the H1N1 pandemic was declared, the web page was altered from: โ€œAn influenza pandemic occurs when a new influenza virus appears against which the human population has no immunity, resulting in several simultaneous epidemics worldwide with enormous numbers of deaths and illness." to โ€œAn influenza pandemic occurs when a new influenza virus appears against which the human population has no immunity."
Months later, the Council of Europe would cite this alteration as evidence that WHO changed its definition of pandemic influenza to enable it to declare a pandemic without having to demonstrate the intensity of the disease caused by the H1N1 virus.
