“I offer my personal condolences to the families of those who lost their lives during the wars of the 1990s, including as a result of the NATO air campaign,” Hill said in a series of tweets.

Russian Nord Stream Operator to Help Salvage 'Unidentified Object'

The mysterious object lies close to the only remaining pipeline left intact following the explosions in September, and will be salvaged with assistance from the Russian-controlled operator at the invitation of Denmark.

Found during an inspection by Swiss-based operator Nord Stream 2 AG, the tubular object sticks up 40cm from the seabed and is approximately 10cm in diameter.

Danish authorities wish to clarify "the nature of the object," but said it "does not pose any immediate safety risk".

Russia Condemns UK Decision to Send Radioactive Munitions to Ukraine

Potential usage of depleted uranium tank ammunition in Ukraine would harm the Ukrainian soldiers serving alongside it as well as damage the local environment, Russian military’s toxic defense chief Igor Kirillov said.
