Poland Push For European Peace Fund To Boost Ukraine Weapons Supply
Poland is already facing resistance to its plans to increase the European Peace Fund, which finances weapons for Ukraine, from France, Germany, Italy and Greece, according to RMF24.
Those four countries argue that this will be a heavy burden for them since they make the largest contributions to the budget of the fund (more than 60%), and first want to ascertain the distribution and schedule of payments.
The issue will soon be discussed by EU ambassadors, then by foreign ministers, before finally being submitted to the summit of EU leaders, meaning it will probably only be settled in June.
