The US Defense Department will move newer attack aircraft to Europe and the Pacific, the newspaper reports
The US will send decades-old A-10 attack planes to the Middle East, replacing more advanced aircraft currently stationed in the region, which it instead intends to deploy in Europe and the Pacific, the Wall Street Journal reported on Thursday.

Proposed property and education bans for Russians, Chinese, Iranians, North Koreans and illegal migrants could come back to bite America
A new bill introduced in Texas by State Representative Tony Tinderholt would, if enacted, bar undocumented students, as well as any students from China, Iran, Russia and North Korea, from studying in Texas universities. While it reportedly has little chance of making it through to the Governorโs desk, it still reflects a racist and counter-productive attitude by some US officials.

Losing Streak: Dollar Slips Again as Bank Confidence Wobbles
The dollar is set for its longest losing streak in two and a half years, hitting near seven-week lows on Thursday as the Federal Reserve suggested it is close to pausing interest rate hikes.
Despite raising its benchmark funds rate by 25 basis points, the Fed hinted at โongoing increasesโ being required as well as โsome additional risesโ as it cautiously navigates faltering confidence in banks.
Futures imply a 50% change of one more hike by a quarter-point, as the dollar index tracks down by 0.2% - its sixth straight daily drop and the longest streak since September 2021.
