M&S has announced to customers it will โregrettablyโ be unable to offer customers in Ireland the Christmas food to order this festive season.
In an email to customers, M&S wrote: โWeโre writing to let you know that, regrettably, weโre unable to offer customers in the Republic of Ireland our Christmas Food to Order service this year.
โAt M&S, we want to make this Christmas a magical one for all our customers. Given the current challenges in the food industry, there was too much risk that we could potentially let customers down with key items in their orders ahead of the all-important big day โ weโd never want to do that
โThe good news is that weโll still have everything you need for a truly delicious Christmas at your M&S Store.

Health Ministry Director-General Nachman Ash said Tuesday that the current wave of coronavirus infections is surpassing anything seen in previous outbreaks and that he is disappointed that a recent downward trend appeared to be reversing.
Ashโs remarks via video call to the Knesset Constitution, Law, and Justice Committee came as Health Ministry figures showed that over 10,000 new COVID-19 cases were diagnosed the day before and that the positive test rate was climbing.
Pointing out that there is an average of 8,000 new infections each day, with occasional peaks over 10,000, he said, โThat is a record that did not exist in the previous waves,โ including the massive third wave at the end of last year.
