It is no secret that our perception is subjective, as everything passes through our own 'filters'. If you are a Nazi sympathizer, then the Nazis were heroes, and the Soviets were evil. You will also see Nazis as liberators, and Soviets as aggressors and occupants.
Don't we just pick ideas we like and call the opposite propaganda?
