The Tusked Rhinoceros Chilotherium

is an extinct genus of rhinoceros that was native to Eurasia and Asia throughout the Miocene to the Pliocene and existed for around 10.3 million years (13.7–3.4 mya). It was a big, strong animal that ranged in height from 1.5 to 1.8 meters and weighed between 1 and 2.5 tons depending on the species. They are distinguished by their huge, pronounced lower canines.

The Sumatran Rhinoceros (Dicerorhinus sumatrensis) is the only Rhino species which grows body hair. There are less than 100 animals alive in global population.
