Hello guys! Yesterday, Vincent published our dev update, it's a good way to take a deep dive into the technical part and we also introduce our technical vision and philosophy.

2 weeks later, we are more than 6'000 people gathered around Request on Slack, and it keeps growing.
As you know, we don't do any marketing/advertising so we are very proud to see so many people join our project and support us.

So, from all the team, thank you all.

Some of you asked us how they could support Request, here is how you can help us:
- We believe we can get qualitative visibility thanks to articles in media. If you have good contacts in a legit crypto/bitcoin media, feel free to introduce us.
- Our whitepaper is only in English so far. We already have a multicultural community and we would love everybody to be able to read more in their native language, such as Chinese, Korean and Russian. If you feel able to do it, please contact me. I've also heard a Kakao Talk channel has been opened 3 hours ago to relay our announcements. That's great too.
- We are also interested in business partnerships because they will help us grow in the long term. Any thoughts? Reach out and tell us.

The waiting line will be used if less than 15k people goes through the KYC process

KYC stats for the last day:
Cumulative submissions = 19'667
Approved accounts (after manual checks) = 15'140
Pending accounts = 0
Incomplete submissions = 814
Rejected accounts = 3'713

These stats can still change until tomorrow because the incomplete profiles still have a last chance to provide correct information until October 7 11pm (CEST) and because we're doing a last control about potential duplicate accounts. But it won't change a lot 😄

Our objective was to have around 15'000 successful registrants. We reached that number, so we are very happy with our community ! From Monday, rejected or duplicate accounts will be deactivated from the slack and people from the waiting list who passed the KYC will be invited, so we can keep a strong community

On Monday we'll publish an article about our KYC process, some data about the community including a map per nationality 🌍

Here is some feedback about exchanges listing:

We believe the future successful exchanges are decentralized ones.
Right now, Etherdelta and RadarRelay are listing REQ. Gate_io and Idex_market too.

However we know that the simplicity of centralized exchange is still way better and we are doing our best to list REQ on them.
Many questions have been asked regarding Binance: we're going to apply for the community vote during the month of November.

Other exchanges like Bittrex, Bitfinex and Poloniex have been contacted, we're in discussions and can't make any additional comment.

Request Network is at an early stage and we have an ambitious roadmap towards success. Our challenges are numerous, we need to execute well and build a product people love. We are pleased to announce the appointment of 2 key advisors to our project who will help us build and develop Request Network over the next few years

Over the last few hours/days we heard some concerns and we are aware that the community needs to know when there will be updates from Request Network Team.

As said earlier, we are strongly committed to our project development and we will communicate every 2 weeks. We believe that communicating transparently is the key for a healthy community and we will communicate a first Project Update on Friday 27th.

Over the last 2 weeks, we went heads down and focused on designing the Core layer of the product, planning the long term growth of Request, and building out relationships with potential partners.
