The German government has lowered its GDP growth forecast for 2025 from 0.3% to 0%, the Handelsblatt newspaper reported, citing sources in the cabinet.

" For the first time in the history of Germany, the German economy will not grow for three years in this case," the publication notes.

One of the reasons for the forecast downgrade is the uncertainty caused by the US administration's threats to introduce high import duties.
