Senior Frontend Engineer (React / Next.js)

ARQ (https://arq.live) is an AI video startup building next-generation tools for video generation — from short clips to production-level content — powered by our own models and multimodal pipelines.
We’re moving fast, shipping constantly, and improving the product every week. This is a real startup environment: lots of ownership, fast iterations, and no enterprise-style comfort zone.
We are looking for a strong frontend engineer who can take responsibility for key parts of the product and help push UX and performance to the next level.

Tech Stack
- React, Next.js, TypeScript
- TailwindCSS
- REST API, WebSockets
- React Flow library
- Remotion (video editor inside the app)
- Integration with LLM agents (LangGraph SDK)

Backend: FastAPI + LangGraph (Python), partially Go

What You’ll Do
- Build and improve the core UI of an AI video product
- Work on complex interactive editor flows (graphs, real-time updates)
- Push usability, polish, and advanced frontend logic
- Collaborate closely with backend and AI components of the system
- Communicate directly with the founders on product decisions and priorities

What We’re Looking For
- Strong frontend engineer with solid React/Next.js experience
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup setup
- Able to take ownership and move quickly without heavy processes
- Product mindset and attention to UX details
- English level B2 or higher (a lot of communication, including with one of the founders)

Nice to Have
- Advanced animations (GSAP, Framer Motion)
- Fullstack experience is a plus
