Last week I published a post about the difference between working for a product company and for outsourcing/outstaffing agencies in my Instagram.
These upcoming weeks I’ll try to prioritize opportunities from agencies as they can become great opportunities to jump start careers in IT. I myself started my testing career at an outstaffing agency from Canada.
So today is for Outliant. They are hiring all over the place and they are claiming to work wit large corporations as well as startups. They have got quite controversial reviews on Glassdoor, so if you end up interviewing with them, I’d be happy to hear your thoughts about them!

More news from no-code industry.
Stacker is expanding their team. They’ve raised a $20M Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz back in August this year and are working hard to enable a million teams to create the software they need without writing code.
You will see UK in location for their positions. But they do state on their careers page that all roles are remote within European timezones. This means people from GMT+3 and GMT+4 timezones can attempt to apply.
Good luck and let me know if you get an offer from them!

Hey, guys!
Sorry for inundating your with notifications this morning!
I finally found the time to figure out and add anti-spam bots to the chat.
I also have just re-enabled messages and comments in the channel and chat. I've missed the chatter and your supporting messages!
I’m hoping my channel and chat are gonna be safer places for everybody.
What’s up? Are you actively searching for a new job? What are the job titles I should be posting?
My plan for today is to find new remote job opportunities I’ll be posting throughout the coming week.
Here is what I have noted from conversations with some of your in my DMs:
- Bookkeepers
- Product Designers
- Customer Support
- User Education
I’m also happy to see more submissions in my Google form that I’ve pinned to my channel.
Here is what you have submitted just recently:
- Senior Software Engineer
- Project/Product or Marketing Manager
- Business developers (internship)
- Machine Learning Engineer
- Service desk manager
- Product / Project manager
- Fullstack JavaScript Engineer
- Customer Support
- Jobs with labguages and translations
Thank you very much for submitting your requests to my form.
Is there anything else I should be prioritizing?
Have a nice day everyone!

Hey, folks!
Many of you have been reaching out to me asking for invites to Polywork. I’m sorry if I haven’t answered your message.
Here is my invite link, you should be able to register with it. https://www.polywork.com/invite/dinakazakevich-squirtle
I don’t know if there is any limit to the number of people who I can invite but feel free to use it.
I’m also not sure if Polywork is worth the hustle of registering. I sign up for all new social media because I like exploring the new mechanics of communication and interactions. I haven’t yet figure out if I can monetize it. I’ve been reaching out and connecting with a few nice people though. So it is definitely your call if you need to register or not.
Cheers!

Hey, just want to say that I do understand your frunstration, guys when you complain about job postings not having clarity for the company’s hiring policies. I agree that most of the job posting s are vague in terms of location and are a lottery.
It takes forever to figure out it a company is hiring remotely or not. Sometimes I explore all my resources and I can’t figure it out at all. As a result some potential awesome job opportunities are left out. But you never know if they were actually open for international applicants or now until you actually tried submitting your application.
I see this problem a lot in companies that using Greenhouse services to manage their job listings. Today I couldn’t stand it anymore. I found prettry cool job postings by Techstars but I couldn’t find any proof for if they are hiring outsite their office locations. So I complained in Twitter about it. Let’s see if they respond. I also tagged Techstars. https://twitter.com/dinakazakevich/status/1470662572152086528?s=20

As you know, folks, whenever I signup for a new service, I always check out the company’s careers page. But what you don’t know is that sometimes I come back to those career pages after some time.

About 90% of all startups fail according to Forbes. So working for a startup is extremely risky especially when you have a family to provide for.
That’s why startups are willing to offer very generous terms even for remote international team members.
The average time an employee spends in a company is about 2.5 years. How can you ensure the startup you are hired to work for doesn’t fail within your estimate 2.5-year term with them?
The way I do it, I make sure the startup is funded, has got existing user-base, and is making at least as much revenue to at least cover its own operational spendings. Here in my channel I try to specify if startup are funded.
What does funding mean for a startup? Right, it means more open positions, more resources for marketing, design and more chance for them to survive. So if you decide to go for a job at a startup, make sure they have been funded and have got money to maintain the work on their work for at least 2-3 upcoming years.
And today is for one of this kind of startups - Sourcegraph. They are a late-stage startup and they were $125M Series D on $2.6B valuation for universal code search tool last summer. I somehow missed their series D announcement but I’m glad I found it now because they are still hiring and they have got existing team members in St.Petersburg, Russia too.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you’ve got any questions.

Circle.so raised $24.7 million in series A led by Tiger Global earlier in December, this led to new roles that they've opened up on their careers pages. They are building a platfom that they themselves describe as
They are now a fully remote team of 40 (and growing!) based in the U.S., Colombia, Portugal, India, Argentina, Slovenia, and other countries. We have a preference for candidates in U.S. and European timezones. They do have a preference for candidates in U.S. and European timezones for these roles.
Creator economy has been a trendy buzzword for a few years now that has been came our reality. Even me, I’m now prioritizing content creation over any other side gigs that I have that have immediate return on investment.
I hope you find the roles interesting and hurry up to apply and share them with hte people you know!

A new Tiktok video about the above. I hate it how hours of work in front of the computer look boring compared to some cool manual or factory work.
Any ideas on how I can make it more fun? Do you follow anyone who does a good job entertaining and delivering valuable information at the same time?

Hello, everyone!
It hasn’t been long since Facebook officially coined the term “metaverse” and it is officially a new buzzword for the next coule of years and lots of companies have since adopted the term for their marketing strategies. Well, I’m not surprized since this shit sells and it sells well.
One of the market segments where “metaverse” term is applicable is remote work, online communication, remote work spaces, remote work infrastructure. So today I would like to introduce Gather. They are building a “metaverse” virtual office that looks fun. I’ve been able to use it with an actual team of people and it is super cool.
They raised $26M in Series A back in March of 2021 and 50M in Series B in November! A whopping total of $76M within several months. Boy, appearently the “metaverse” buzzword indeed sells well! They intend to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
To quote their remote work policy
Hurry up to apply and share the opprotunites with your friends! Make sure you watch their promo video attached!

They raised $26M in Series A back in March of 2021 and 50M in Series B in November! A whopping total of $76M within several months. Boy, appearently the “metaverse” buzzword indeed sells well! They intend to use the funds to continue to expand operations and its business reach.
To quote their remote work policy
Talent is everywhere but opportunity is not. Your job often dictates where you live - but this isn't the case at Gather. This is the way to go, this is the right future I support and I’m really happy to promote them. Hurry up to apply and share the opprotunites with your friends! Make sure you watch their promo video attached!

Today I spent some time reading a scientific essay on boredom written by one of my former colleagues. What can be more boring than reading an essay on boredom?! Just kidding, the essay turned out to be more fun than I anticipated.
But to answer my question. What can seem to be more boring than the appearance of an essay on boredom? Right, it is developing and testing payment methods.
Similarly to the boredom essay, I find testing payment methods very entertaining. I have got some experience testing Stripe integration for startup products and I find it increadibly amusing as it keeps me thinking and inquiring and descoving new ways I didn’t concider earlier. It is a constant Tom and Jerry game for me.
So today is for opportunities at Fidel API. They enable developers to build event-driven payments experiences, on top of cards. Their APIs are used by start-ups through global enterprises including Google, British Airways, and Royal Bank of Canada. Headquartered in London, Fidel has offices in Lisbon, New York, and remote employees globally.
Hurry up to apply and share these boring opportunities with your friends!
