ما يُقال عِندَ شِدّة الحَرّ

*What is said during extreme heat*

روى الحافظانِ ابنُ السُّنّي وأبو نُعيمٍ بسنَدٍ ضعيفٍ عن رسولِ الله ﷺ قال: "إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمٌ حَارٌّ فَقَالَ الرَّجُلُ: لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ، مَا أَشَدَّ حَرَّ هَذَا الْيَوْمِ، اللَّهُمَّ أَجِرْنِي مِنْ حَرِّ جَهَنَّمَ، قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ لِجَهَنَّمَ: إِنَّ عَبْدًا مِنْ عِبَادِي اسْتَجَارَ بِي مِنْ حَرِّكِ فَاشْهَدِي أَنِّي أَجَرْتُهُ"

The Hadeeth Headmasters, Ibnus-Sunniyy and Abu Nu^aym, narrated with a weak chain from the Prophet ﷺ (that) he said: “If it was a hot day so one said (what means): *There is no god except Allah, how intense is the heat of this day, O Allah, grant me protection from the heat of Hellfire*, Allah reveals to Hellfire: certainly one of My slaves has sought My protection from your heat, so bear witness that I have granted him protection”.

قال العلماء كالحافظ البيهقي وغيره: الحديث الضعيف يُعمل به في فضائل الأعمال وفي التاريخ وفي الآداب والسِيَر، وهذا من فضائل الأعمال.

The scholars, such as the Hadeeth headmaster Al Bayhaqiyy and others, said: The weak Hadeeth is acted upon in regards to the virtuous deeds, historical reports, manners, and biographies. And this is among the virtuous deeds.
