From a blind anger & servility to seeking patient meekness..
To love someone is to learn the song in their heart and sing it to them when they have forgotten.
I try to stay calm and cool But sometimes I act just like a fool.
Too intense
Not making sense
A deep breath and a count to ten
And try to find that zen again.
I sumize
I search
I seek
not to be weak
but meek..
Equanamous or mildness of temper
Rather than destabilizing anger
pliant, gentle and soft
Rising to God aloft.
You are a winner
You are a giver
Forgiveness "for giving"
Patience for living
The virtue issue
the issue
is you
So step into the flow
Let it go
Let it go
The tender splendor
Surrender surrender
But Servility, a sin they say,
To let life pass you by each day,
To settle into monotony,
never strive for what could be.
To grow complacent
dull and grey
And let your dreams just fade away
To lose the spark that once was bright
And bow down to a life of might
For life is short, and time is fleet
And there's no time for incomplete
To let the fire within you die
Is to succumb to a life of lie.
So shake off servility's hold
And don't let your heart grow cold
Embrace the challenges that come your way
And make the most of each new day.
For in the end
It's not the years
But the moments that bring us tears
The memories of the risks we took
And the chances that we never forsook.
So don't let servility win
And let your life begin again
For to live without passion and zeal
Is a sin that no one should feel.
To trust ourselves and make a choice
And find within our inner voice
For action courage is not just might
But knowing when to stand and fight
And when to listen, when to yield
To balance strength with wisdom's shield
