Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

Never lose tawakkul. Your time will come. Your prayers will be answered. You'll be where you want to be. Just dont lose Allāh. Enjoy the life he gave you. Appreciate your blessings. He hears your prayers and knows your needs. Everything will come to you in due time.
Ibn Qayyim Al Jawziyya رحمه الله said:

"The person who treats others kindly and thinks well of them, will find that his intention will remain true, he will feel at ease, his heart will be sound and Allah will protect him from evil and calamity."

[Madarij al-Salikeen 2/511]
Keep moving. Keep striving. Time doesn't wait for anyone. Be close to Allāh ﷻ. Read Your Qur'ān, Adkhar. Don't stay stagnant. Do a course/teach/work but Move forwards. Never look back at your past.

No matter how difficult it is, No matter how painful life can be, Know that you're special to Allāh ﷻ, He knows what you're going through and that's enough. Find solace in him.

Alḥamdulillāh For Everything.

[Reflections For Myself]
One profound piece of knowledge that I gained over the past year is to take things one step at a time. Doing everything at once may make you a jack of all trades, but still a master of nothing. Focus on what you want to be your end goal, and set small steps towards that.
ʿUmar (رضي الله عنه) said:

I heard Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) saying: "If you all depend on Allāh with due reliance, He would certainly give you provision as He gives it to birds who go forth hungry in the morning and return with full belly at dusk".

[Tirmidhī]
Raise your hands in Duʿāʾ. Call upon the Lord of bounties, mercy and forgiveness with utter humility and submission. Beg Him. He will listen. Let your tears flow. He will hear your cries. Don't lose hope. For He said that He will answer. And He ﷻ never breaks His promise.
الخلوة مع الله طريق السعادة

Being alone with Allāh ﷻ is the path of happiness.

‏"وﻻﺑﺪ ﻟﻠﻌﺒﺪ ﻣﻦ ﺃﻭﻗﺎﺕ ﻳﻨﻔﺮﺩ ﺑﻬﺎ ﺑﻨﻔﺴﻪ ﻓﻲ ﺩﻋﺎﺋﻪ

“And it is a must for the servant to spend time alone with himself in his Du’a,

ﻭﺫﻛﺮه ﻭﺻﻼﺗﻪ
And in his remembrance and his prayers,

ﻭﺗﻔﻜﺮه
And his thinking,

ﻭﻣﺤﺎﺳﺒﺔ نفسه
And holding himself accountable,

ﻭﺇﺻﻼﺡ ﻗﻠﺒﻪ
And in reforming his heart,

ﻭﻣﺎ ﻳﺨﺘﺺ ﺑﻪ ﻣﻦ ﺍﻷﻣﻮﺭ"

And the matters pertaining to him.”

[ﺍﻟﻔﺘﺎﻭﻯ لابن تيمية ١٠ /٤٢٦]
Every successful person is really just an embodiment of a journey filled with small successes that led up to their main goal. Nobody magically wakes up at the finish line. Nothing happens overnight. So take your steps even if they’re small. You’ll get there eventually Inshā'Allah
There was a time when cars meant the world to me. When I was younger, I ran my own car rentals business and had the opportunity to drive some nice cars.

But Alhamdulillah, as I grew older and started to distance myself from cars and materialism. I realised that greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in faith, goodness, humility, service and character.

In reality, it is our good deeds and sincerity that will benefit us greatly in the next life.

May The Almighty always allow us to stay humble and not become too attached to the wordly distractions. Ameen!

Abū Dardāʾ (رضي الله عنه) states:

“When Allāh decides a matter, he likes that his decision is accepted by his slave.”

The door of Allāh is always available, you just have to knock on it!

Every repentance before death is [considered] “Repentance shortly thereafter”

Allāh says: “....My slaves who have transgressed against themselves, Do not despair of God’s mercy, indeed, Allāh forgives all sins.”

Even in the mention of
transgression and sin, Allāh still said ‘My slaves’. He used an iḍāfah (إضافة) to show us that despite however many sins we may commit, an iota or a plethora, there is still a connection, God still loves us, hence the usage of the iḍāfah.

This religion is a religion of hope and will forever be a religion of hope. Anyone who says otherwise has no understanding of Allāh or His Messenger ﷺ
Be a person that makes everybody feel like somebody.
Just because your friends are getting married, new jobs etc. doesn't mean you should be doing all that too. Comparison is the thief of joy; everyone has their own timeline, some quicker than others. Keep going at your own pace, everyone is different.
