Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

Why are you sad? You have Islam, you have something which makes you everything!
Imām Ibn Rajab رحمه الله stated:

"Loving Allāh is not complete except with being obedient to Him. And there's no way to be obedient to Him except by following His Messengerﷺ."

[Tafsīr Ibn Rajab 1/497]
Chasing money endlessly is a scam. Find an amount that will suit your lifestyle and live comfortably, aim for that rather an endless amount.

Loads of studies have shown that after earning a certain amount of money ($75,000 in the US), it no longer add's on to happiness
What should the Maʿrifah of Allāh ﷻ lead to?

A deep awareness and knowledge of Allah (maʿrifah) will make you shy of Allah, increase your love for Him and attach your heart to Him. You will be left in awe of Him and will always long to meet Him.

You will repeatedly turn to Him broken in repentance. You will hastily run away from the creation to enjoy seclusion with Him.

Striving to attain these qualities is a continuous effort, and not a single struggle. It is a lifelong journey that will only end when we meet Him and He is pleased with us, inshāAllah.
Trials in themselves can be such blessings: You're reminded that you are living in the Dunyā, you're reminded that perfection only belongs to Allāh, your connection with Allāh becomes stronger, you gain so many valuable experiences and lessons, and improve yourself. Alhamdulillāh
“Everything and everyone at their own pace. Flow with not against yourself.”

When we go through a certain loss and are deprived of something, it is still present in Allāh Ta’āla’s treasures and He Ta’āla can create any wasīlah for it to be returned. It can be a loss of comfort from a person, which Allāh Ta’āla can restore through another means, or a loss of an item that He Ta’āla can return or replace.

The main point being that our difficult situations do not cause any change within the power and treasure of Allāh Ta’āla. Secondly, nothing can happen or be stopped without His will. In other words, in all situations, whether they are of ease or hardship, we are completely helpless except with what He Ta’āla has willed for us. And in each of these situations Allāh Ta’āla remains the اصل of power over each second of our lives.

So in every experience, we turn to Him, asking for strength, understanding, ease, wisdom, relief, etc solely from Him as we are unable to achieve any of this on our own even if it’s something of ease. We remind ourselves that nothing is impossible for Allāh Ta’āla. When we seek the relief and strength to overcome it we can only do so through Him (through du’ā, ‘ibādah, and other means He Ta’āla has provided us with). And while we work on this, we also push ourselves towards having patience and acceptance of the will of Allāh Ta’āla, knowing that if relief is being withheld for now, it is only because He Ta’āla deemed it best for us. But that, like everything else, eventually “this too shall pass”.
Umar Bin Abdul Aziz رحمه الله said:

"Taqwa isn't standing of the night (for Salah) or fasting during the day, rather Taqwa is performance of what Allah has commanded and leaving what he forbade, but if it is accompanied with a deed, then it is good."

Your soulmate whom Allāh ﷻ has destined for you will come at the right time. Don't lose hope and be discouraged if you're rejected once or twice or thrice or even more.
Rest assured Allāh ﷻ is in control of all affairs and He's aware of you.
