Assalāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh,

This is a reminder page for myself to look back on. If you benefit from it, Alḥamdulillāh. If not, please remember me in your du'ā's.

In this life you will meet the best of your days and the worst of your days. And in the end it will all feel like a day or part of a day. Sit with that for a moment. Realise that you are living these days, not to own them forever but to use them to build everlasting days

I swear you are going to die one morning, or perhaps one afternoon or an evening. And life as you know it will end. So beautify these temporary days with the deeds that please your Lord. In the hopes that He will beautify your everlasting life due to those same deeds.

Never overcomplicate life. This is all you're here for. slowly but surely you will slip away from this life, and you will wish to have good, sincere, beautiful deeds waiting for you at the other end.

"If you can be unknown, be so; it doesn’t matter if you are not known and it doesn’t matter if you are not praised. It doesn’t matter if you are blameworthy according to people if you are praiseworthy with Allāh the Mighty and Majestic."

[Al-Bayhaqī, Al-Zuhd Al-Kabīr p100.]
The beauty of Islām and believing in the existence of Allāh is that no matter what happens, even at your most loneliest of times, Allāh is there for you as a comforter and friend and there’s nothing more tranquil and soothing to the soul than that
Imam Al-Bukhārī was distinguished with three qualities:

1 He never spoke much.

2 He never yearned for what people had.

3 He would never occupy himself with other people's affairs; all his attention was towards knowledge.

[Ad-Dhahabī | Siyar Alâm Al-Nubalā 12/449]
Take care of your thoughts when you are alone and take care of your words when you are with people.
Small circle. Private life. Content heart. Clear mind. Peaceful life.
Please do remember Me & The Ummah in your Du'ā's!

If you read a book, let your concern be on the topics it contains, not on the number of pages you turn. Because knowledge is about harvesting the right fruit, not about abundance [wasteful] reading

Ask Allāh ﷻ for good actions

[Shaykh Sa'īd Al Kamali حفظه الله]
From that which Allāh uses to expose the reality of people is time. Time is something that Allāh has swore by in the Qurān. Time is our life. Time is to be valued. Time is to be made the best of. Time is not to be wasted on people & things that dont benefit you. Use time wisely!
Never lose tawakkul. Your time will come. Your prayers will be answered. You'll be where you want to be. Just dont lose Allāh. Enjoy the life he gave you. Appreciate your blessings. He hears your prayers and knows your needs. Everything will come to you in due time.
Ibn Qayyim Al Jawziyya رحمه الله said:

"The person who treats others kindly and thinks well of them, will find that his intention will remain true, he will feel at ease, his heart will be sound and Allah will protect him from evil and calamity."

[Madarij al-Salikeen 2/511]
Keep moving. Keep striving. Time doesn't wait for anyone. Be close to Allāh ﷻ. Read Your Qur'ān, Adkhar. Don't stay stagnant. Do a course/teach/work but Move forwards. Never look back at your past.

No matter how difficult it is, No matter how painful life can be, Know that you're special to Allāh ﷻ, He knows what you're going through and that's enough. Find solace in him.

Alḥamdulillāh For Everything.

[Reflections For Myself]
One profound piece of knowledge that I gained over the past year is to take things one step at a time. Doing everything at once may make you a jack of all trades, but still a master of nothing. Focus on what you want to be your end goal, and set small steps towards that.
